I am Machinery Safety Consultant with CMSE® & CECE and over 19+ years international experience in machinery safety, CE marking and regulatory compliance. Delivering services such as risk assessments (EN ISO 12100), definition of required Performance Level (PLr), CE marking support under Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, and Technical File review for different industries sectors as medical device, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and industrial automation across Ireland and Europe. Experience in several harmonised standards including EN ISO 13849-1/-2, EN 60204-1, EN ISO 10218-2 (robots), EN 415 series (packaging machinery) and EN 619/EN 620 (conveyors). Former roles: • Machinery Safety Consultant and PM - Pilz Ireland (2021-2026): Consultant carrying out machinery assessments and CE marking projetos. • Regional & Local Manager – TÜV Rheinland Brazil (2016–2020): Led machinery safety certification business (NR-12, INMETRO, CE Marking, OSHA/NFPA), managed 40+ professionals, developed LATAM market and acted as committee member for national machine safety component program. • Certification Manager & Product Auditor – TÜV Rheinland (2010–2016): Created scalable “Attest of Compliance NR-12” service, executed conformity assessments in Brazil/Europe/Mexico and supported Brazilian OEMs with CE marking process. • Machinery Safety Consultant – Certifica Brazil (2020–2021): Delivered NR-12, OSHA and ANSI compliance projects for industrial clients.
