Marc Desmulliez

Chartered Engineer and Physicist, Professor Marc Desmulliez is an expert on 3D multi-material manufacturing. As the Manager of MDMC, he is responsible for day-to-day operation of the Centre and management of the Technology Specialists, as well as for ensuring the sustainability of the Centre beyond the Scottish Enterprise funding duration (September 2026). Marc’s research interest are in medical devices, microwave sensing and biomimetics. He is also an entrepreneur responsible for 2 spin-out companies and 1 start-up company.
