Kevin Meaney
Principal Officer, Infrastructure Delivery and Monitoring · Department of Public Expenditure Infrastructure Public Service Reform and Digitalisation
Kevin is Principal Officer of the Infrastructure Monitoring and Delivery Unit within the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation. In this role, he led on the development of the National Development Plan (NDP) Review 2025, in addition to prior NDP Reviews in 2021 and 2024. This Unit also holds responsibility for monitoring and reporting on the delivery of the 30 actions set out in the Accelerating Infrastructure Report in December 2025, Infrastructure Guidelines policy, and PPP policy. Prior to this role, Kevin worked in the Department of Health and in other roles in the Department of Public Expenditure and the Revenue Commissioners. Kevin is a member of the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service (IGEES) and holds a BA and MA in Economics from UCD.
