Guglielmo Iozzia

Guglielmo is currently Director, AI/ML and Applied Mathematics, at MSD and lately also a Distinguished Member of the American Society for Artificial Intelligence. His current focus in on applications of Language Models (and related paradigms, such as RAG, Agentic AI) and other paradigms, such as Causal AI or Neurosymbolic AI to the Biotech industry. He has lately shared his expertise on custom and domain-specific Small Language Models optimization, quantization and deployment for inference also in commodity hardware in a book published by Manning Publications.
