David Byrne

David Byrne is Co-Founder and CEO of ReaDI-Watch, working with leading Irish manufacturers; including AIR Ireland, Combilift, Midland Steel, and Lawrence Engineering; to improve how Innovation and R&D is actually managed in practice. His work focuses on a set of common problems across engineering-led organisations: R&D activity is rarely fully documented, engineering knowledge is lost, and companies lack clear visibility over what they are investing in and why it matters. As a result, technological risks are often realised too late, R&D investment is not properly quantified, R&D tax credits are a nightmare to claim, and speed to market is slowed down. David works directly with engineering and leadership teams to fix this, helping companies capture R&D as it happens, structure it into usable insight, and turn day-to-day problem-solving into something that can be measured, funded, and used to drive better decisions.
