Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson is founder and Managing Director of OutForm Consulting, with 20+ years’ experience leading transformation and performance-improvement programmes across utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, and the public sector. A trusted advisor to executive teams and boards, he is known for cutting through complexity to define the critical path to delivery and build client capability for sustained change. Brian has led major operating model and PMO engagements for organisations including Northern Ireland Water, Uisce Éireann (Irish Water), and Dublin Airport Authority, spanning capital delivery, asset management, and operations. At the helm of OutForm Consulting he has grown a successful consultancy business, established in 2018 the company has grown from strength to strength. Specialising in client-side infrastructure and construction projects, the BCorp Accredited Company works with clients including Scottish Water, Gas Networks Ireland, Translink and Iarnrod Eireann. Brian holds an Advanced Management Programme qualification from Ashridge Business School, an MSc in Management from Queen’s University Belfast, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
