Antony Murphy is a leader in advanced manufacturing and sensor technologies, currently working with the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC). He brings extensive experience in translating cutting-edge sensing and photonics technologies into practical industrial solutions. Previously at Causeway Sensors, Antony played a key role in developing and deploying sensing systems designed to enhance manufacturing processes, including real-time monitoring, quality control, and predictive maintenance. His work has focused on enabling manufacturers to gain deeper insights into their processes through the integration of advanced sensors and data analytics. At AMIC, Antony is involved in supporting industry adoption of next-generation manufacturing technologies, helping companies de-risk innovation and implement new tools that improve efficiency and competitiveness. His work covers a wide range of sectors, from traditional manufacturing to high-value, technology-driven industries. Antony is particularly interested in how sensing, photonics, and digital technologies can converge to create smarter, more adaptive manufacturing systems.
