Founded in 1996, the Precision Tooling & Machining Association (PTMA) is a national, industry-led organisation representing Ireland’s precision engineering, tooling, and advanced manufacturing sector. With over 80 active members — including manufacturers, service providers, and education partners — PTMA supports collaboration across the supply chain, encourages innovation, and promotes the development of technical skills vital to the industry’s future. The association delivers value through a full calendar of activities, including regional workshops, factory tours, member networking events, international delegations, and key industry exhibitions. PTMA also supports SMEs through visibility campaigns, branding guidance, and sector connections, helping them grow and gain recognition in a competitive market. Now celebrating 28 years of activity, PTMA continues to grow as a trusted platform for knowledge-sharing, promotion, and industry advocacy.
